The Cayman Islands Angler of the Year is presented by Kirk Freeport and IWC Shaffhausen.
The angler at the end of 2015 with the most accumulated points will be crowned the Angler of the Year and presented with a trophy and an IWC watch.
Scoring system
Fish above qualifying weight in each tournament:
- Wahoo – 1 point per lb
- Dolphin – 1 point per lb
- Tuna – 0.5 point per lb
- Billfish Release – 100 points
Tournament wins/placing
Top 3 fish per species (excluding Marlin)
- 1st – 100 points
- 2nd – 70 points
- 3rd – 50 points

- Barcadere Classic
- Cayman Islands International Fishing Tournament
- Kirk Slam
- Brac Jackpot
- Cayman First Insurance All Tackle
Swordfish challenge is not included as there are no individual anglers, multiple people can pull in the fish as it is a team event.
